THE MOOREBEER STORY

Moorebeer first opened its doors in 2017, founded by Brad Hodge and Ryan Moore with a vision of creating great craft beer for the Port Macquarie community.

In 2019, Big Moz joined the brewery as a brewer, spending the next five years helping refine recipes, develop new beers and contribute to the brewery's growing reputation for quality craft beer.

When the opportunity arose to purchase Moorebeer in late 2024, it was a natural next step. Having been part of the brewery's journey for years, the goal wasn't to reinvent Moorebeer, but to build on the strong foundations already in place while continuing to improve the beer, the taproom and the overall customer experience.

Today, Moorebeer remains proudly independent and locally owned, with a commitment to brewing exceptional beer, supporting the local community and creating a welcoming place where people can come together over a great beer.

Every beer at Moorebeer is brewed right here in Port Macquarie using quality ingredients, modern brewing techniques and a hands-on approach.

From easy-drinking lagers and hop-forward IPAs to seasonal releases and experimental brews, we're always striving to improve and create beers full of flavour that we're proud to pour.

Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, our goal is simple—to brew fresh, approachable craft beer that keeps people coming back.
